The spirit of giving has arrived at yet another Coverall Support Center, this time in Las Vegas.

Typically, when you offer employees a company lunch outing, they jump at the chance to get out of the office and into their favorite restaurant. That wasn’t the case this time. When Peggy Unruh, General Manager of the Las Vegas Support Center, asked her staff where they’d like to go for their annual holiday luncheon, she expected to hear jokes about fast food or pricey fine dining. Instead, the answer was far from a joke.

It all started with Senior Sales Consultant, Paul Miller, who made the first move by offering to donate his portion of the annual luncheon to a local charity. Not long after making this kind gesture, the rest of the seven-person team followed suit, unanimously voting to donate their lunch budget to charity. Soon after, flyers and emails were sent encouraging Coverall Franchised Business Owners and all who visited the office to consider donating.

The charity of choice was S.A.F.E. House, a local organization that seeks to Stop Abuse in the Family Environment. S.A.F.E. House helps battered women and their children by providing safe shelter, support, advocacy, counseling and community education.

Between Support Center employee donations and the generous donations of Coverall Franchised Business Owners, the Las Vegas Support Center was able to hand-deliver nearly $700 in gift cards, toys, diapers, clothes, sundries and more, all in time for the holidays.

“I am so proud of the team here at the Las Vegas Support Center as well as our Franchised Business Owners,” said Peggy Unruh, General Manager of the Coverall Las Vegas Support Center. “This was something they unanimously decided to do on their own and it was a great idea.”
